Contest from August 27 till the end of labor day, September 1st.
Aloha friends! This is a real simple little contest featuring some of our beautiful ukes. In a week 2 people will win $500 credit for anything they want at TheUkuleleSite.
Who couldn’t use this?! Christmas is coming up!
I called this the Ukulele IQ Test but more accurately it would be the (UAS) IQ test because it really depends on you identifying the brand and model of each ukulele on this wall. Uke fans will definitely have an advantage. But you don’t have to be completely uke crazy to win! How exactly can you win? One of two ways.
1.In the comments below list the brand and model of as many of the ukes on the wall that you can identify. That means Brand and model. For custom builds with no exact “model” , you just need to mention the maker. Sorry for the vignetting or any trouble seeing, it’s just a game folks. There is 67 answers. Any answers in a comment beyond 67 will not be counted. Warning! This could be a colossal waste of your time! Just like most things it most likely will be be. Either way there is 67 ukes we have documented in this shot. Some are clear to see and some aren’t. Just give it a guess if it’s hard to tell. The person that gets the most right gets a $500 credit at the store in Haleiwa or online site at The Ukulele Site.
2. We will have a second winner that will be chosen using random.org by their sequence in the number of comments. BUT, if you are the random number picked, your comment still has to have at least 10 correct models! If it does you will also win $500 at The Ukulele Site. If it does not then another number will be picked automatically.
We are rearranging the wall tomorrow so visitors will not have the answers. (Though they may have a lot of fun)
This was one of the comments:
Your contest needs more clarity. Since there are more than 67 posted on the photo, how do we know which 67 are picked? We could get all the right answers but if we start in the wrong place, we will get the answers wrong! Also it gives an unfair advantage to people who visit the shop as they can read the tags on the wall.
How about you putting a check mark or something on the sound holes of the ones you want us to name?
You’re right, here is a numbered picture. As far as in store customers. Many of these are online but kept in their case. We put them up for the pic so in store customers don’t have this same wall to study. Plus at least 5 have sold since I posted this yesterday.
